Organizing jewelry in a proper manner is a way of attracting good Feng Shui energy.

Jewelry, just like everything surrounding people, can influence the owner’s finances, career, relations, and other significant aspects of life in a positive or a negative way. This is especially true in relation to jewelry with gemstones.

Gemstones and metals retain specific energy, and for a long time influence the owner’s life. All the gemstones and metals have specific qualities, and metals reinforce the qualities of gemstones.

Feng Shui Tips on Wearing Jewelry

While jewelry, especially if with gemstones, can positively impact certain aspects of the owner’s life, wearing too many pieces at a time leads to imbalance of energies that are influencing the person.

  • Do not wear broken pieces: broken things attract breaks.
  • Do not wear jewelry that associates with negative memories or experiences. Keep only the pieces that evoke positive emotions and warm feelings.

Also, wear gemstones of certain colors to attract specific energy:

  • Red represents vitality and improves romantic relations.
  • Orange attracts supportive energy that positively influences health, and speeds up healing.
  • Gold is good for learning and mental activity.
  • Green represents growth and creativity, so is good for career and personal development.
  • Blue and white protect from negative energies and influences.
  • Purple reinforces spiritual and psychic harmony.

Feng Shui Tips on Organizing Jewelry

Feng Shui recommends jewelry to be organized neatly and conveniently.

  • Sort and organize all the pieces for them to be kept separately: earrings in pairs, necklaces separately not to get tangled.
  • Use jewelry boxes, cases, compartments and plastic bags for the jewelry to be kept in order.
  • Get rid of, or repair, broken pieces. They carry negative energy.
  • Sell or give away the pieces that are not ever worn. They take space that otherwise would be taken by more useful and pleasant belongings.

If throwing away, giving away or selling broken and unworn jewelry is not something the owner has courage to do, the best option is to put it into a separate box and tie with a red ribbon. This action will symbolically block the negative energy of the pieces.

Jewelry, when organized and smartly worn, is sure to positively impact the owner’s life. Remember to keep and wear only the pieces that evoke positive feelings and emotions. Treat them carefully, regularly clear from negative energy, and they will thank back by attracting good Chi into life, improving it, and leading to positive changes.
